Tour Itinerary

Day 1:     Hanoi Arrival (D)

Upon arrival at the Airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. 

Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

Day 2:     Hanoi – City Tour – Halong   (B/L/D)

Morning, continue Hanoi city tour to visit Hochiminh Mausoleum and his former residence (Closed on Monday, Friday and the whole of Oct & Nov), One pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature – the first University in Vietnam

After lunch, transfer to Halong Bay (160km driving one way - 3.5hrs drive). You will have a deep experience about a nation whose 80 percent of population living on rice while moving through the countryside. After a quick rest stop en route, you will reach Halong City.

Day 3:     Halong – Hanoi  (B/L/D)

Morning, transfer to the port to embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. Enjoy 04 hours boat cruise on Halong bay _ listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. The trip will bring you an unforgettable memory of Halong Bay. Boat will stop at Thien Cung cave and Dau Go caves for sightseeing. Fresh seafood lunch is served on board during the cruise then return to the pier.
Afternoon, drive back Hanoi and shopping in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Day 4:     Hanoi – Danang – Hoian  (B/L/D)

Morning, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Danang.

Arrival Danang, visit Cham Museum - was built in 1915 with the financial support of the French Far-East Research Institute in Vietnam. This museum houses the most extensive collection of Cham art worldwide

Afternoon, visit the ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence.  There are  plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tamky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market.

Day 5: Danang – Hue (B/L/D)

Morning, transfer to Hue in your private vehicle. The overland journey will take you through one of the most beautiful scenery of Vietnam when you traverse the Hai Van (Cloudy Pass). Enjoy a full day city tour to visit Hue Citadel - Vietnam’s former imperial capital and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ramparts, namely from outside to inside: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel) and Khai Dinh Tomb, Hue Citadel is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern.

Afternoon, take a cruise along the Perfume River, visiting Minh Mang Tomb (one of Nguyen Emperors). Back to the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda - an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. Stop at Dong Ba market for shopping.

Day 6: Hue – Hochiminh  (B/L/D)

Morning, transfer to airport for flight to Hochiminh city.

Afternoon, take city tour to visit War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery; weapons; photos; and documentation of Vietnam's wars with both the French and Americans. The tour continues to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh market for shopping.

Day 7: Hochiminh – Cuchi Tunnels (B/L/D)

Morning, drive to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi was an important base during the American War because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories. Dug out of hard late-rite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered.

Afternoon, city tour to visit War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery; weapons; photos; and documentation of Vietnam's wars with both the French and Americans. The tour continues to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975 and Notre Dame Cathedral. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh market for shopping.

Day 8: Hochiminh Departure (B)

Free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight departure
